It’s difficult, I know. You’ve been designated as the person to decide where the whole family of probably more than 10 people are going to eat. There’s grandma, grandpa, aunties, uncles, mom, dad, siblings cousins, and probably some kids too! Where’s a place that has food that everyone will enjoy, or one that has something different for each generation?
This list is made for that, and I’ll expand this list every time I visit and eat at a place that is suitable for the fam!
3. Mutiara Seafood by JUMBO Goup
I have not visited Mutiara, however, I keep hearing about them from my friends and followers who have visited them. All of them rave about the food – that it tastes authentic, and very delicious… but one has to be ready with the moolah. They have good variety of dishes, especially for grandma n grandpa, and what better way to enjoy the communal meal than over a round table in the signature Mutiara way.

2. Craze Kitchen
Craze Kitchen is underrated for its food with comforting flavours. I added them to this list because their restaurant has a good mix of dishes – pasta, protein dishes and their famed paella rice. The flavours also tailored to local tastebuds, and their food is always hearty and comforting. I also found that their offering were pretty affordable They have 2 locations – Tampines and Yishun, so go visit their nearest one!

1. Halal Hangout Elite
Halal Hangout Elite inspired this list. I helped out Halal Hangout Elite with their launch and was one of the first few people to try their food upon opening, and the first thing that struck me was the variety. They have their signature meat items like the beef ribs, steak, mushroom soup and so on, and they also have local favourites like thai-style fish, North Indian and South Indian food.There’ll sure be something for everyone in your big family!
